Worth it,
The dvr system is ok the software is way better
Cameras are decent . well worth it for the price.
Setting up to record 24/7 didn’t really make it simple I just called swann they walked me through it in like 2 mins.
At night u can see a decent amount
Could u make out a face at 75ft prolly not
But 20-40ft yes.
Pic attached is at 3am car in picture is 8 ft away
Truck and car across the street are over 75ft
Hope this helps :)

Pretty Pleased Guy, but my Back Hurts from Install!!!,
Installation was not fun, though the manufacturer is not the cause of the problems… I found this project took much longer than expected due to having to crawl around in my attic and crawlspace to run the wires. All in all it took about 12 hours of labor.
The length of cable you get with the cameras should be sufficient, 100′ for each camera. I had to run to Best Buy and buy another 100′ (though I didn’t need that much, it was all they had in stock.)
After hooking all of the cameras up I found that the DVR setup was quite simple (The user guide is pretty much worthless). Setting up my motion sensors, alert areas, camera names and times were pretty simple.
Setting up the app for the phone for remote viewing was also a breeze. Simple had to download the app, run it, and take a picture of the DVR box and place in the password and poof, it worked. I really like this feature, since I spend a lot of time at work it’s simple to review alarms and watch a live feed.
The picture quality is so so. There is no way that you will ever get a license plate from a passing vehicle from these cameras, especially at say 50′. The night vision is top notch, though make sure you have the cameras pointed far enough away from your siding or else that’s all you will see at night, since the infrared reflects off of it.
Also, be sure to set the sensitivity correctly, often times when I review my footage from the night before I get a lot of activations from bugs flying into my alarm area.
Overall, I’m pleased with my buy. It is a fantastic starter kit for new homeowners or someone who is looking for security on a budget. I will be expanding my cameras to take advantage of the 8 channels, but it time..
Didn’t have to contact customer support due to not having any issues with the setup.
